Introduction

This course presents the fundamentals of project management. It describes what is a project, project life cycle and project scope. Elaborates in program management and evaluates the project. The different approaches for developing the project are also presented such as the waterfall model, the spiral model, prototyping and others. Effort estimation and activities planing are described. Also this course gives a good understanding of resource management, cost management, risk management, software quality and contracts management. An overview of PRINCE2 is given.
